Anthony Lyle has spent the last 40 years studying the Bible using various versions, such as the Masoretic Text and the Septuagint. While he makes no claim to knowing the original languages, he relies on the expertise of translators who understand these languages, their grammar, and the hidden nuances that might elude the casual Bible reader.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and has two children of his own, along with six stepchildren from his marriage. He is currently a widower; his last wife passed away from cancer. He loves life and spends his retirement studying, researching, and writing about the Bible, extra-biblical sources, archaeology, and various ancient documents.

He has published three children’s books, a romantic adventure, and over 28 Bible-related works. He leads a simple and humble life devoted to understanding God, the Word of God, and God’s plan for salvation.
